To get things started, here are some things about me you should know. My name is Jackie and I am 20 years old. I started cleaning for a company here in Memphis when I was 18 years old. I have been cleaning houses for over two and a half years, and you know what...it isn't half bad. Don't get me wrong, when I first started cleaning I SUCKED (by the way we are only allowed to use all-natural products so it takes a little bit more elbow grease to get things clean). No one wanted me, I left streaky mirrors, I got soo many complaints that it made me depressed, and I was expecting to get fired very soon. I don't know what happened, but the cleaning thing just suddenly clicked to me. I think I was trying to make it harder then it really was. Now I have so many regulars and people that want me to come back, it is hard to fit them all in my schedule.

Today is Friday, and I am finally off work...kind of...I volunteered to help a co-worker clean up her new house in a few hours. I usually clean 2 houses a day (and sometimes 3 since some of my regulars refuse to change days -thanks guys). Fridays are pretty easy for me, because every morning I clean the same guy's house. I've been cleaning it for almost 2 years so I've got a pretty good routine going on. It is so weird the things you learn about someone while cleaning their house without having to meet them. For example, me and my Friday morning guy have the same birthday (Feb. 15th) ..but he doesn't know it, and I am scared to tell him because then he will think I'm a creeper, but I'm not, I swear! I have a newbie regular on alternating Friday afternoons. She is very pretty and young with the cutest daughter (at least from what I can tell from pictures). She is nice, but I am sick of people thinking I spell my name Jacki. My name is on the worksheets I leave everytime I clean, but about 3 clients insist on spelling it Jacki and it is getting on my damn nerves.

I could type up a storm about my Fridays but I don't want this to fall in the tl;dr category, so I'll save the rest for next Friday.
